PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE IN REALESTATE SELLING

July 01, 2025

1. We are not selling candies but millions-worth of properties. Buyers are expected to carefully
consider a lot of factors before making a purchase decision.

2. In deciding, MAN are 3 factors that must be present before purchase is made:

 M - oney
 A - uthority
 N - eed
So it takes time before a client decides to buy.

3. Comparison is usually done by the Buyer to ensure he/she gets value for his/her money.

4. After all the waiting, a great reward awaits once transaction is consummated. Among all the
products being sold, real estate, in general, has the biggest financial reward.
While we need to earn, we have to understand the above-mentioned situations.

The good news is, we can do something to address these:

1. Strategic prospecting must be regularly done to ensure we get continuous Buyers.

2. Prospects generated from item 1 must be properly managed. How? Create a pipeline of your
prospects. For full-time brokers like me, cash flow is very important. To ensure that the flow
continues, having a list of regularly-monitored status of prospects is crucial.

3. Create a good number of listings. Inventory is king! Since most clients have the tendency to
compare listings, being ready with more, in case client asks, is essential.
A better knowledge of the sales process is essential so we are reminded and encouraged to wait
and understand why patience is a virtue in our world.
